When a wildlife animal is found and reported to Chennai Wildlife Division, we will examine the animal to determine the extent of the injury and the probability of successful rehabilitation. the animal will be fed, nurtured, provided safe temporary housing, and medically treated as necessary.

It is deemed essential to release rescued animals back to their natural habitat in order to ensure complete healing and self-sustenance. Hence, Release is considered a part of the rescue process.
Release sites are carefully chosen to maximize the chances of survival, where there is plenty of food, water, and suitable nesting sites.
The enclosures at the park in Guindy have been suitably designed and constructed, taking into account the needs for needs for wildlife treatment.
